Fred B. Jones, 85, of Edgewood Estates, Frenchburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at his residence.  He was born in Frenchburg, Kentucky on March 3, 1935 the son of the late Bunion and Ella McPherson Jones.  He was a retired self employed logger and a member of the Church of God.  He was the widower of Bethel Fay Centers Jones.

He is survived by three sons, Jeffery (Cindy) Jones of Denniston, KY, Lester (Jeri) Jones of Denniston, KY and James (Rose) Jones of Mariba, KY; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sons, Walter Jones, Green Jones and Willis Jones; three daughters, Margaret Jones, Loretta Jones and Kathy Jones; five brothers and three sisters also preceded in death.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Frenchburg with burial following in the Helton Cemetery.  Friends may visit Wednesday from 11 am - 1 pm at the Taul Funeral Home in Frenchburg.  Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
