Fred Skidmore, 76, of Mt. Sterling passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at his residence.  He was born June 2, 1945 to the late Roscoe and Mildred Shubert Skidmore.  He was a member of First Church of God and retired from Hobart and Toyota Manufacturing.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Skidmore of Camargo, KY; two sons, Rick Skidmore (Martina) of Stanton, KY and Dan Skidmore (Rick Yokley) of Ft. Wright, KY; mother-in-law, Augusta Prater of Mt. Sterling, KY; two brothers, James S. Skidmore (Reva) of Mt. Sterling, KY and David L. Skidmore (Betty) of Jeffersonville, KY; two sisters, Irma Oakley of Mt. Sterling, KY and Barbara Estes of Mt. Sterling, KY; five grandchildren, Stephen Luke Skidmore (Briana), Zachary Daniel Skidmore, Nathan Andrew Skidmore and Caroline Elizabeth Skidmore; one great granddaughter, Morgan Skidmore; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Warren Skidmore and Gary Skidmore; and one sister, Carolyn Pelfrey.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Skidmore and Jerry Tucker officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Stephen Skidmore, Zachary Skidmore, Nathan Skidmore, Kevin Oakley, Thor Skidmore and Jereme Prater.  Honorary pallbearers Chris Skidmore, Adam Skidmore, Marty Prater, Jake Becraft and Frankie Becraft.
