Freda Janelle Gerrish, 44, of Wellington passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital Mt. Sterling.   She was born May 6, 1977 to Juanita Clifford Brooks and the late Elliot Brooks.  She was a member of Big Woods Community Church.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Joseph Gerrish of Wellington, KY; three sons, Gabriel Gerrish of Wellington, KY, Kaleb Gerrish of Wellington, KY and Logan Gerrish of Wellington, KY; two daughters, Autumn Gerrish of Wellington, KY and Cassandra Gerrish of Wellington, KY; four brothers, Greg Brooks of Frenchburg, KY, Victor Brooks (Kayla) of Jeffersonville, KY, Kevin Brooks (Shy) of Frenchburg, KY and Nathan Brooks (Shelby) of Frenchburg, KY; and seven sisters, Eva Egleston (Todd) of Frenchburg, KY, Ladonna Smith (Tommy) of Morehead, KY, Janet Burks (Randy) of Wellington, KY, Jennifer Brooks of Mt. Sterling, KY, Leslie Brooks of Frenchburg, KY, Crystal Oakley (Brad) of Owingsville, KY and Myra Breedon (Travis) of Frenchburg, KY.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Brooks, Victor Brooks, Nathan Brooks, Greg Brooks, Justin Williams and Scott Williams.

A private family service will be held. Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
