Freida Lee Gross Ballard, 79, of Frenchburg passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at her residence.  She was born April 3, 1943 to the late Arnold and Bessie Myers Gross. She was of the Christian faith, graduated from Menifee County High School, retired from A.O. Smith and was an excellent cake decorator.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Donny Ballard of Frenchburg, KY; two brothers, Jimmy Gross (Margaret) of Frenchburg, KY and Arnold Denny Gross of Frenchburg, KY; a sister, Bonnie Willoughby (Larry) of Jeffersonville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Ray Gross and Joe Henry Gross; and a nephew, Adam Gross.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg with Pastor Gary Willoughby officiating.  Burial following at Fagan Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11-1 PM, Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be Jim Gross, Denny Gross, Jimmy Gross, Richard Amburgey, Tony Poynter and Billy Hall.
