Gary Gene "Pappy" Craig, 72, of New Liberty, KY passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Frankfort Regional Hospital.  He was born May 11, 1949 in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late Herbert and Myrtle Willoughy Craig.

He is survived by two daughters, Angela Patton (Louis Hutcherson) of Frankfort, KY and Patricia Lawson (Kevin) of Jeffersonville, KY; a sister, Ruby Hayden of Menifee County, KY; five grandchildren, Heather Dufresne (Robbie), Dustin Brooks, Kevin Bryan Lawson, Tori Hutcherson and Rebecca Hutcherson; and seven great grandchildren, Brayden Wilson, Ryker Dufresne, Konner Dufresne, Layla Perkins, Alana Perkins, Chloe Grimes and Caroline Grimes.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters; and a granddaughter, Alyssa Hutcherson.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Taul Funeral Homes Chapel with Rev. Scott Barnes officiating, burial following at Lovely and Amburgey Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 6-8 PM, Monday, January 31, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Kevin Bryan Lawson, Dustin Brooks, Robbie Dufresne, Terry Vinegar, Louis Hutcherson, Kevin Lawson, Hunter Greer and Jonathan Grimes.
