Gary Wayne Martin, Jr., 55, of Jeffersonville, KY passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at St. Jospeh Hospital Mt. Sterling.  He was born June 29, 1970 in Mt. Sterling, KY to Gary W. Martin, Sr. and Martha Sue Martin. of Jeffersonville, KY.  He worked for Cooper Standard Automotive.  He enjoyed old trucks, was a UK Basketball and NASCAR fan.  He loved to fish and hunt when he was young.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Betty Martin of Jeffersonville, KY; sister, Lea Ann Martin (Jesse Harper) of Mt. Sterling, KY; a grandchild, Brandon McClure; paternal grandmother, Nellie Bellamy of Mt. Sterling, KY; a nephew, Michael Martin (Sierra Spencer) of Mt. Sterling, KY; a great nephew, Caden Clay Martin; and a special sister-n-law, Ada Marie Combs.

He is preceded in death by a step-son, Donnie McClure; a paternal grandfather, Oliver Martin; maternal grandparents, Jesse and Hazel Anderson Reddix; and a nephew, Jordan Martin.

Funeral services will be held, 12 PM, Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Routt and Jackie Anderson officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 5-7 PM, Monday, March 23, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Jeff Vance, Dewayne Vance, Michael Martin, Destil Ray, Billy McCoy and Frank Hatfield.  Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends and Cooper Standard Employee Friends.
