Gene A. Tipton, 66, of Mt. Sterling passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at his residence. He was born June 14, 1953 to the late Arminta Tipton. He worked at MASCO Cabinetry and a member of Masonic Lodge Grassy Lick.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Tipton of Richmond, KY; one daughter, Abagail Jean Tipton of Kansas City, MO; and two sisters, Barb Abney (Jerry) of Winchester, KY and Charlotte Jane Chester of Mt. Sterling, KY; one nephew, James Robinson of Cincinnati, OH and a niece, Leatha Johnson of Georgetown, KY.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Tipton and Frank Douglas Chester, JR; and one sister, Margaret Ann Armstrong.

Memorial service will be held 1 PM, Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Latimer officiating. Visitation will be held 11 AM-1PM, Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Dunn, John C. Martin, Ronnie Martin, Larry Martin, Josh Martin and James Robertson.
