Geneva Slone Ratliff, 81, of Mt. Sterling, KY passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY.  She was born May 24, 1943 in Floyd County, KY to the late Denny Slone and Etta Triplett.  She attended Pentecostal Church of Christ, Drift, KY.  She was one of eleven children, she loved to learn new things, Kentucky Basketball and sing gospel songs.

She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Ratliff of Mt. Sterling, KY and Angela Frey (Scott) of Lapel, IN; brothers, Terry Slone of Eastern, KY and Ancil Slone of Eastern, KY; sister, Judy Soward (Willie) of Prestonsburg, KY; a grandchild, Nathaniel Frey; a host of nieces and nephews; and by her Fur baby, Lucky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 Years, RJ Ratliff.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Mt. Sterling, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 12 PM-1 PM, Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
