George Wayne Johnson, 64, of Jeffersonville, KY passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025 at his residence.  He was born December 19, 1960 in Montgomery County, KY to the late Frank and Alice Tackett Johnson.  He worked as a commercial painter and he loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by a son, Timothy Johnson; brothers, Clyde Johnson (Debbie), David Johnson and Albert Johnson; sisters, Elizabeth Johnson, Ruth Johnson, Eva Shanks and Margaret Johnson, all of Mt. Sterling, KY; and grandchildren, Brianna Johnson and Timothy Johnson.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Johnson.

Funeral Services will be held 12 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Evans officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-12 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Josh Dragoo, Sam Shanks, Jesse Johnson, Timothy Johnson, Christopher Johnson and Michael Sutton.
