Georgia Allen Prewitt, 95, the widow of Wilmott Jeffries Prewitt, Mt. Sterling died December 25, 2020.  She was born in Cass County, Missouri on October 12, 1925.  She was preceded in death by her parents, G. H. "Butch" Allen and Crit Lane Allen and a brother, Harold Hallie Allen, all of Raymore, Missouri.

She is survived by two children, Ellen Kenney Prewitt and Allen Jeffries "Buck" Prewitt (Terri) of Mt. Sterling; Grandchildren include, Caroline Crittenden Lane Jones (Morgan) of Springfield, Illinois, Oliver Prewitt Roberts (Ashley) of Crystal Springs, Florida, Willmott Kenney Prewitt II (Jacqueline) of San Francisco, California and Parchim, Germany, and Allen Lewis Prewitt of Mt. Sterling; Great grandchildren include, Georgia Jeffries Jones, Caroline Ashby Jones, Henry Morgan Jones and another to be named in 2021 from Oliver Prewitt and Ashley Roberts.  Plus, many special nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Machpelah Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made the First Christian Church, Sterling House Fund, 222 W Main St., Mt. Sterling, KY 40353 or the Sterling Community Food Coalition, 515 Maysville Road, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.  The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Windsor Memory Care and the nurses on the second floor of St. Joseph-Mt. Sterling.
