Geraldine Moore Martin, 78, of Mt. Sterling, KY passed away Monday, December 29, 2025.  She was born June 9, 1947 in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late Rex Moore and Emily Hatton.  She attended Bethesda Church and was a Property Manager.  She was the Treasurer for the Bethesda Church, loved to yard sale and she dedicated her life to her husband, kids and grandkids.

She is survived by a son, Joseph Martin (Loretta) of Mt. Sterling, KY; a daughter, Tammy Lockridge (Rick Clark); grandchildren, Emily Garland (Joseph), Rex Martin (Jennah), Erica Caldwell (Jason), Josh Martin (Lauren), Lance Lockridge and Levi Martin; and great grandchildren, Elise Garland, Delaney Caldwell, Gunner Caldwell, Jordan Caldwell, Carsyn Martin, Brooklyn Lockridge, Emmerson Johnson and Julie Martin.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Martin; sons, Tony Martin and Rex Martin; and sisters, Rosetta Wood, Sue Ockerman and Wanda Compton.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Friday, January 2, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Prather officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Friday, January 2, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Joe Martin, Rex Martin, Jason Caldwell, Jordan Caldwell, Josh Martin and Rick Clark.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Updike, Lance Lockridge, Joseph Garland, Gunner Caldwell and Owen Ockerman.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Taul Funeral Home, 109 E. Main Street, Mt. Sterling, KY, 40353 toward funeral expenses.
