Gertha Evaline Holder, 88, of Owingsville passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital Mt. Sterling.  She was born March 29, 1932 to the late Matt and Hazel Robbins Rogers.

She is survived by three sons, Greg Holder of Graves County, KY, Barry Holder (Nancy) of Somerset, KY and Walter Holder (Denise) of Graves County, KY; two daughters, Arlinda Barnes (James) of Stanton, KY and Janda Mann of Owingsville, KY; one brother, Ishmael Rogers (Virginia) of Kokomo, IN; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Nicodemus "Nick" Holder; two sons, Roy Holder, Sr. and Bill Holder; one daughter, Joanna Stone; three brothers, Mitchell Rogers, Garnett Rogers and Thomas Rogers; and three sisters, Ruth Horner,  Dorothy Sea and Gertrude Rogers.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM, Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Ryder officiating, burial will follow at Hatton Creek Cemetery.  Visitation 11-1 PM, Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Roy Holder, Jr., James Lee Barnes, Jr., Jeffrey Todd Holder, Gabriel Dean Barnes, Timothy David Stone and Eddie Poole. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Johnson and Josh Holder.
