Gilbert W. Dale, 78, of Mt. Sterling passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at his residence.  He was born January 4, 1945 in Montgomery County, KY to the late Leslie Clark Dale and Christine Gilvin.  He retired from IBM and Lexmark and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline Crouch Dale of Mt. Sterling, KY; sons, Duwayne Dale (Rebecca) of Morehead, KY and Brady Dale (Emily) of Richmond, KY; and five grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Billy Gene Dale, Cecil Dale and Johnny Dale; and sister, Sue Amburgey.  Pallbearers will be Brady Dale, Duwayne Dale, Trevor Dale, Graham Dale, Chase Dale and Camden Dale.
