Goldie Hartgrove Haney, 68, of Mt. Sterling passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.  She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on July 24, 1953 the daughter of the late Thrashley and Eva Faye Ewen Hartgrove.  She was a retired guest services worker for Marriott's Griffin Gate Resort in Lexington.  Goldie loved bird watching, especially cardinal and redbirds, travelling, eating out at restaurants, watching the Cincinnati Reds games and collecting Christmas decorations.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Jimmie) Lea of Mt. Sterling; her ex-husband, James Haney of Whitesburg, KY; six brothers and sisters, Thrashley Blair (Amanda) Hartgrove of Jeffersonville, KY, Theresa (Sid) Coulter of Bath County, KY, Lydia Faye (Mike) Maze of Bath County, KY, Terry Ginter of Jeffersonville, KY, Gerald Ginter of Mt. Sterling, KY and Paula Wafford of Mt. Sterling; a life long friend, Donnie Elam of Mt. Sterling; two grandchildren, Mason Lea and Rebecca Lea; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be at 6 pm, Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Camargo Church of God with Donnie Henderson and Samantha Rice officiating.  Friends may visit Thursday from 4-6 pm at the Camargo Church of God.  Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Henderson, Gary Henderson, Donnie Elam, Elijah Hartgrove, Zachary Hartgrove and Chad Beagle.  Taul Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
