Grover C. Jones, 86, of Mt. Sterling, KY passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026 at St. Joseph Hospital-Mt. Sterling.  He was born January 8, 1940 to the late Howard and Daisey Adams Jones.  He attended COLG Church in Mt. Sterling, KY and he owned PSC: Grover Jones; Engineers & Surveyors.  He loved his work, keeping cars clean and enjoyed traveling.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rosanna Jones of Mt. Sterling, KY; daughters, Lisa Estes (Larry) of Gallatin, TN, Lana Newkirk (Chuck) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Salina Davis; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Howard Jones, Jr.  and Buck Jones; and a sister, Maxine Baggett.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Patrick Lager officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 6-8 PM, Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Terry Terrell, David Shanks, John Mosley, Mike Staton, Earl Johnson, Jr.  and Gary Hamilton.  Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Toy, Joe White and Tom Lager.
