Hazel Ann Raper, 73, of Mt. Sterling passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Windsor Care Center.  She was born October 20, 1947 to the late Norman and Zola Luster Goldie.  She was a member of Spring Street Baptist Church, a hairdresser for SmartStyles, and she also participated in Warm Up Montgomery County.

She is survived by three daughters, Cristal Neal (Rea) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Angela Roberts (Jamie) of Morehead, KY and Jaime Willoughby (Stephen) of Jeffersonville, KY; one brother, Jerry Goldie (Lisa) of Mt. Sterling, KY; one sister, Serena Hayden of Mt. Sterling, KY; and four grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James L. Raper; one brother, Norman Goldie, Jr; and one sister, Jacqueline Curtis.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Johnson officiating and burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  A visitation will be held 12 PM and 1 PM, Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Jamie Roberts, Rea Neal, Stephen Willoughby, Cody Willoughby, Jerry Goldie and Brady Goldie.
