Helen King Spencer, 84, of Mt. Sterling passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital, Mt. Vernon, KY.  She was born October 29, 1938 in Clark County, KY to the late Lyman King and Alice Richardson.  She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and retired from A.O. Smith.

She is survived by a son, Arthur Spencer III of Mt. Sterling, KY; daughters, Debbie Martin (Leonard) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Michelle Hash (Eric) of Lexington, KY; nine grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Spencer, Jr.; son, David Wayne Spencer; and sister, Irene Fouch.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Hoss Prater and Rev. Jim Skidmore officiating, burial following at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-2 PM, Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Christian Hash, Spencer Hash, Arthur Spencer IV, Colton Crump, Alec Spencer and Adam Grubb.
