Henry Morson Howes Jr., 81, of Jeffersonville, KY passed away Saturday, September 26, 2026 at St. Joseph Hospital Main Lexington, KY.  He was born October 4, 1944 in Owensboro, KY to the late Henry Morson Howes, Sr. and Eava Mae Baker Howes.  He attended Antioch Christian Church, retired after 30 years as a Mill Wright with Chrysler Corporation and was US Airforce Veteran. 

Henry was a hospital volunteer for 12 years, enjoyed old movies and loved spending time with his wife and family. 

He is survived by his wife Oro Lee Howes of Jeffersonville, KY; a son, Robert Kunzmann (Margaret) of Syracuse, NY; a daughter, Lisa Howes Pigenoski (Kurt) of Hamill, NY; a brother, James D. Howes (Jamie) of Louisville, KY; a sister, Frances Martin (Donald) of Somerset, KY; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Jason Howes and Michael Kunzmann; and brothers, Dannie Ray Howes and Fred Baker.

A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM, October 3, 2026 at Antioch Christian Church with Dr. Jason Toller officiating.
