James "Jim" David Hensley, 75, of Mt. Sterling passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023.  He was born April 6, 1947 in Greenfield, OH to the late James David and Grace Lee Reed Hensley.  He was a member of Living Water Church and a retired school teacher for Montgomery County Schools.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Tyra Hensley of Mt. Sterling, KY; son, James David Hensley III (Danielle) of Mt. Sterling, KY; daughters, Graceanne Miller (Gary) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Farrah Jane Conn (Doyle) of Mt. Sterling, KY; sister, Charlotte Barker (Robert) of Washington Court House, OH; grandchildren, Kyle Miller, Marianne Jones (Caleb), Gabe Miller, Avery Conn, Lily Conn, Kate Conn, Harrison Hensley and Hannah Hensley; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Living Water Church with Pastor Grant Cannoy officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Living Water Church.  Pallbearers will be Gabe Miller, Caleb Jones, Charlie Tyra, Steve Hall, Kyle Miller and Nick Ratliff.  Honorary pallbearers will be Harrison Hensley, Glen Spencer, Jim Gabbard, Danny Whitaker, Vernon Coffey, Mike Barker and Jerry Trimmer.
