James C. Mynheer, 82, of Frenchburg passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at his residence.  He was born May 5, 1939 to late William Henry Mynheer and late Mary Katherine Cottle.  He was a member of Frenchburg Baptist Church, Lions Club and was a Maintenance Supervisor/Instructor for Job Corp.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Donna Mynheer of Frenchburg, KY; four sons, Jimmy Mynheer of Frankfort, KY, Timmy Mynheer (Pam) of Frenchburg, KY, David Mynheer of St. Petersburg, FL and Jerry Mynheer of Lexington, KY; two daughters, Pam Higgins of Frenchburg, KY and Tanya McClanhan (Spedaniel) of Frenchburg, KY; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, David E. Mynheer and Fleming Mynheer; and two sisters, Olive Starnes and Audrey Holland.

A funeral service will be held 12 PM, Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg with Pastor Wayne Myers, burial following at Cottle Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 10 AM-12 PM, Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be Tony Mynheer, Randy Cassidy, Greg Cassidy, Bud McClanhan, Darrell Ratliff and Jimmy Mynheer.
