James E. Rowe, 78, of Frenchburg passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at St. Claire Health Care. He was born October 14, 1941 to the late Earl Lewis and Ruth Hager Rowe.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Brooks Rowe ; four sons, James Phillip Rowe of Frenchburg, KY, James Earl Rowe Jr (Tina) of Means, KY; Micheal Clay Rowe of Means, KY and Kevin Lewis Rowe of Frenchburg; two daughters, Patricia Ann Amburgey of Frenchburg, KY and Ruth Ann Rowe of Means, KY; two brothers, Norman Rowe (Lisa) of West Liberty, KY and Lester Rowe of Mt. Sterling, KY; three sisters, Janet Rice of Mt. Sterling, KY, Diane Perry of Morehead, KY and Linda Adkins of Owingsville, KY; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons, William Albert Rowe and Anthony Wayne Rowe; and two sisters, Maudie Ballard and Bonnie Moore.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lonnie Minks officiating, burial following at Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM, Monday January 13, 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Kevin Rowe, Michael Rowe, Lucas Rowe, Matthew Rowe, Timothy Stamper, Tyler Rowe and Lester Rowe. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Ferguson and Phillip Rowe.
