Jana Lynn (Dearden) Poff, 73, of Mt. Sterling passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at her residence.  She was born October 30, 1948 in Kansas City, MO to the late Arthur Dearden and Helen Marie Burch. She was a County Appraiser for Sedgwick County, KS and a member of Gateway Christian Church, Mt. Sterling, KY.

She is survived by her husband, John Thomas Poff of Mt. Sterling, KY; a son, Flint Poff (Teri) of Wichita, KS; two daughters, Johnna Lygrisse (Justin) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Lee Anna Spencer (Harry) of Newton, KS; a brother, Kirk Dearden (Patty) of Oklahoma City, OK; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen Dearden and Michael Dearden; and a sister, Deborah Dearden.

Memorial service will be held 1 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2022 at West Ridge Community Church, 7315 West Thirteenth Street North, Wichita, KS 67212 with Pastor Ron Kocher and Pastor Dave Mitchell officiating, reception following at the church.  Burial will be held 1 PM, Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Scott County Cemetery, 1330 South Kansas Road, Scott City, KS 67871.
