Janice Farner McCoy, 91, of Lebanon, TN passed away Friday, November 5, 2021 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Alvah and Eva Farner of Lawtons, NY.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Marvin McCoy, and infant daughter; her siblings, Helen Luther (John) , brothers the Rev. Alden (Margie) and Monroe Farner.  She is survived by her son,  Alvah Thomas McCoy of Means, KY; daughters, Barbara Aldridge (Tom) of Lebanon, TN, Susan Wilson (Earl) of Georgetown, KY and Shelia Byrd of Frenchburg, KY; grandchildren, Jason Aldridge (Robbie) of Ackworth, GA, Glenda McCoy (David Faughn) of Richmond, KY, Carol Ann Morrison (Chris) of Stamping Ground, KY Matthew Ray (Kristin Merion) of Louisville, KY, Casey Ray (Ashley) of Frenchburg, KY, Dylan McCoy (Smatha)  of Stanton, KY and Taylor McCoy of Jeffersonville, KY; and sister-in-law Mary Farner of Lawtons, NY.  She is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Janice was a founding member of the Means Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, led a ladies prayer group and served as pianist for many years.  She also served as a volunteer at local nursing homes sharing her love for the game Scrabble.

Visitation will be held 10:30-12:30, Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel immediately followed by a graveside service at Lovely and Amburgey Cemetery with Joey Rodgers officiating.  Pallbearers will be Jason Aldridge, Matthew Ray, Casey Ray, Dylan McCoy, Chris Morrison and David Faughn.
