Jeremiah "Jay" Isaiah Jones, 32, of Mt. Sterling passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021.  He was born November 12, 1988 to Ryan Keith Jones and Penny Wilson Stinnett.  He was a member of Cathedral of Glory Church and a self employed entertainer.

He is survived by his wife, Erika Franklin of Mt. Sterling, KY; his father, Ryan Keith Jones of Mt. Sterling, KY; his mother, Penny Wilson (Bobby) Stinnett of Mt. Sterling, KY; grandmother, Carolyn Jones of Mt. Sterling, KY; one son, August Akiem Jones of Mt. Sterling, KY; one daughter, Asia Lynn Jones of Mt. Sterling, KY; five brothers, Johnathan Nichols, Xavier Stinnett, Jordan Stinnett, Javien Stinnett and Josh Donley; and three sisters, Ayreona Crouch, Kaleandra Robinson and Jaelyn Donley.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM, Monday, June 28, 2021 at Cathedral of Glory Church with Pastor John Hobson officiating, burial following at Longview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Monday, June 28, 2021 at Cathedral of Glory Church.  Pallbearers will be J.R. Davis, Johnathan Nichols, Damian Clemons, David Wright Jr., Antoine Wright, Jackie Sterling and Eddie Campbell.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Hampton, Jamie Jones and Randy Ashby.
