Jerimy "CHILL" Childress, 46, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Friday, October 16, 2020. He was born October 9, 1974 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Jerimy graduated from Montgomery County High School where he played football and baseball. He was a member of KHSAA's Umpire Association. Jerimy was a Construction Materials Technician Manager at CSI. He loved performing karaoke every Friday with friends, as well as 'practice sessions' every single day. Jerimy was also an avid member of STEELER Nation.

Jerimy's most treasured role was that of being a dad. His family's strength and bond were of the utmost importance. Jerimy knew how to carry the torch of his family with just the right combination of a tender heart and compassionate understanding. His undeniable ability to be the family's peacekeeper was inherited by none other than his late Aunt Becky.

He is survived by his parents; Jane Overstreet and Gary Childress (Carolyn); life partner, Anitha Orcutt; daughters, Maddison and Morgan; sons, Alex and Daniel; brothers, Brandon (Kristin) and Gary Lee; sisters, Leah Beth (Rachel), Nicole, Elizabeth and Kat; nephews, Braxton and Maddox. He is preceded in death by his sister, Candece Monique; grandparents, Herbert and Flossie Childress and Cecil and Doris Overstreet.

Services will be held Tuesday, October 20 ^th at Taul Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Miles as the officiant. Friends may visit from 11:00am-1:00pm and the funeral service will take place directly after visitation. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Childress, Gary Lee Childress II, Braxton Childress, Maddox Childress, JJ Toy, Kelly Helton, Neal Howard, Justin Davis, Shawn Ferrell, Jason Fair and Josh Crouch.
