Jerry Lee Curtis, 87, of Mt. Sterling, KY passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026 at St. Joseph Hospital Mt. Sterling. He was born March 15, 1939 in Montgomery County, KY to the late Walter Lee Curtis and Onie Patton Curtis. He attended Christian Assembly of God Church and retired after 43 years from Heiling Meyers as a Truck Driver.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Helen Stephens Curtis of Mt. Sterling, KY; a son, Randall Curtis of Montgomery Co., KY; a sister, Hazel Powell of Mt. Sterling, KY; a grandchild, Jeremy Curtis of Mt. Sterling, KY; and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Tim Curtis.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Barnes officiating, burial following at Old Nest Egg Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 AM- 12 PM, Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Rick Gilvin, Freddie Donaldson, Buck Willoughby, Austin Wheeler, Mike Charles, Larry Martin, Al Hansen, Darryl Culpepper and Nathan Powell.
