Jewell Otten, 91, of Mt. Sterling passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Windsor Care Nursing Home.  She was born July 12, 1929 to the late Andrew Jackson Traylor and Roxie Rutherford Traylor.  She was a member of the First Church of God and retired from Cowden Manufacturing.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Carl Louis Otten; one son, Carl Wayne Otten (Suzanne); grandson, Carl David Otten (Chelsie); three great grandchildren, Waylon Luce, Carlee Rose and James Holt Otten; grandson, Nicholas Luce.  Also surviving is her best friend of many years, Jewell Spencer.

A private family service will be held.  Pallbearers will be Jerry Gibbs, Jeff Spencer, Carl David Otten, Nicholas Luce, Jeff Raney and Matthew Carpenter. Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
