Joann Lawson, 68, of Owingsville passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 at Hospice of Hope Kenton Pointe Way in Maysville, KY.  She was born September 13, 1955 in Ohio to the late Carl Lawson and Deloris Thompson Lawson.

She is survived by daughter, Tina Powell of Owingsville, KY; brothers, Gary Lawson (Joyce) of Winchester, KY, Larry Lawson (Faye) of North Port, FL and Carl Lawson of Elizabethtown, KY; sisters, Sandra Barnes of Mt. Sterling, KY and Sharon Romine (Shawn Albert) of Elizabethtown, KY; two grandchildren, James Tyler Cundiff (Stephanie) and James Darren Crowe; great grandchild, Eli James Cundiff; and three step great grandchildren, Branson Cline, Tucker Cline and Ben Cline.  Several Nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great greats.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Powell; daughter, Lisa Powell Crowe; sisters, Carol Ann Lawson, Barbara Lawson, Marilyn Jones and Patty Martin; a grandchild, Travis Allen Cundiff; nephew, Christopher Craig; and a niece, Tammy Raines.
