Joanne C. Egelston, 70, of Frank Hurt Road, Frenchburg, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at her residence.  She was born in Frenchburg, Kentucky on September 7, 1950 the daughter of the late Paul Glenn and Lucille Manns Combs.  She was a retired nurse for Menifee County Health Department and a member of the Fellowship Christian Assembly and With a Heart Ministry.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Lee Egelston of Frenchburg; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Thomas (Brad) of Mt. Sterling; a brother, John Rader Combs (Jayne) of Prospect, KY; and two grandchildren, Tyler Thomas (Andrea) and Ryan Thomas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Combs and a sister, Linda Sue Combs.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Frenchburg with Revs. Harry B. Jones, Mike Welch and Vicky Welch officiating with burial following in the Combs-Day Cemetery.  Friends may visit Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be Tyler Thomas, Ryan Thomas, Corky Combs, John William Combs, Drew Combs and Jason Egelston.  Honorary pallbearers will be Drema Clifford, Larry Pargen, Flora Pargen and Tammy Fenster.
