John David Anderson, 68, of Camargo-Levee Road, Mt. Sterling passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at his residence.  He was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky on November 10, 1953 the son of Thelma Martin Anderson and the late Rev. Millard Anderson.  He was an auto mechanic and a member of the Christian faith.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Deborah Cook Anderson of Mt. Sterling; two sons, John D. Anderson, Jr. of Jeffersonville, KY and Chris (Melanie) Knox of Stanton, KY;  a brother, Millard (Lynn) Anderson of Jeffersonville, KY; five grandchildren, Ethan Anderson, Michelle Parker, Hana Knox, Bub Knox and Teghan Knox; one great granddaughter, Addyson Vice; his beloved dogs, Sadie, Molly Brown and Molly White; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one son, Michael H. Anderson and one brother, Gary Wayne Anderson.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Herbie Lewis and Raymond Townsend officiating and burial following in the Longview Cemetery.  Friends may visit Tuesday from 11 am - 1 pm at the Taul Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be Gary Martin, Billy Chappell, N. H. Stone, Buddy Leach, Andrew Woods and Marty Vivian.  Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Shortridge, Bobby Anderson, Jeff Conn, Chris Cook and Bobby Dale Cook.
