Joshua Scott Shrout, 39, of Doe Run Drive, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at his residence.  He was born in Morehead, Kentucky on November 5, 1982 the son of Valeria Osborne and Tim Shrout.  He was a member of the Christian Assembly of God.

He is survived by his father, Tim (Maxine) Shrout of Frenchburg, KY; his mother, Valeria (Mark Wilhoit) Osborne of Frenchburg; his significant other, Kaitlin Johnson of Mt. Sterling; a son, Isaac Tackett of Frenchburg, KY; a brother, Zach Shrout of Frenchburg; and six nieces, Madison Shrout, Makenna Shrout, Kayla Scott, Courtney Scott, Josie Reed and Gracie Reed.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the Christian Assembly of God Church with Rev. Scott Barnes and Kaitlin Johnson officiating and burial following in the Brown Cemetery.  Friends may visit from 11 am - 1 pm Saturday at the Christian Assembly of God.  Pallbearers will be Zach Shrout, C. J. Reed, William Johnson, Jr., Colton Barnes, Brad Barnes, Robbie Ferrell, Clint Orme, Jesse Perry and Wade Wilhoit.  Honorary pallbearers will be Isaac Tackett, John Rhodes, Courtney Scott, Kayla Scott, Josie Reed, Gracie Reed, Madison Shrout and Makenna Shrout.  Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
