Julie Ann Snelling, 59, of Stanton passed away Saturday, June 30, 2022 at Kindred Hospital Louisville.  She was born September 20, 1962 in Mt. Sterling, KY to Ivory Smith Snelling and the late Henry Snelling.  Julie was fun loving, enjoyed collecting dolls, listening to tradio, loved all animals and her family.

She is survived by her mother, Ivory Smith Snelling of Powell County, KY ; special dad, Mike Russell of Powell County, KY; step-brothers, Eric Russell, George Russell and Jerry Russell of Powell County, KY; sister, Judy Lee (Demarie) of Ezel, KY; step-sister, Betty Bowling (Wayne) of Winchester, KY; a special cousin, Linda Henderson (Richard) of Mt. Sterling, KY; and her dogs, Max and Little Girl.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by, nephew, Allen Lee of Powell County, KY; and a dog, Cocoa.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Smith officiating, burial following at Longview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Richard Henderson, Gary Moore, Larry Moore, Anthony Bailey, Mitchell Smith, Jerry Russell, Wesley Shoemaker, Wayne Bowling and George Russell.
