Kathleen Brewer Boykin, 67, of Carlisle, KY left this world peacefully to be with God on Monday, October 27, 2025.  Born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on August 12, 1958 to the late Alberta Johnson and Robert Boyd Brewer, filled the world with light from the very beginning.  She had a strong faith in God and lived life marked by a generous heart and a vibrant sense of humor, which touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Above all else, Kathleen was a loving spouse.  She met the love of her life, Timothy Boykin, and together they built a beautiful life and a family filled with laughter and warmth.  She was a dedicated mother to her children, Lincoln (Jennifer) Boykin and Hannah Boykin.  Their home was a haven of unconditional love and the memories created within its walls will forever be treasured.

She is also survived by her brothers, Robert "Hammer" Brewer of Moorefield, KY and Larry Boyd Brewer of Sharpsburg, KY; sisters, Carolyn Sexton (Lee) of Sharpsburg, KY and Barbara Hatton (Jim) of Carlisle, KY; sister-n-law, Julie Brewer; a special friend, Carla Hardin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Wayne Brewer; a sister, Mary Ruth Brewer; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Brewer.

Beyond her family, Kathleen pursued her passions with enthusiasm. She could often be found outside feeding her humming birds, traveling, quilting, baking and kayaking.  But it was her unwavering passion for reading that will be remember the most.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Monday, November 3, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Louis Eddie Vittitoe, burial following at Longview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 12 PM-2 PM, Monday, November 3, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Lincoln Boykin, Cole Bailey, Rylan Bailey, Mark Hatton, Greg Hatton and Todd Waits. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Sexton, Larry Brewer and James Hatton.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
