Kathleen Trusty Ware, 77, of Kiddville Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at her residence.  She was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on July 7, 1945 the daughter of the late Kelly and Eulah Mullins Trusty.  She was a homemaker, a cook for the Camargo Elementary School and a member of the Kiddville Baptist Church.  She was the widow of David Ware, Sr. her husband for 52 years.

She is survived by two sons, David R. Ware, Jr and Kyle Lee Ware both of Mt. Sterling; a daughter, Rhonda Ware of Mt. Sterling; a sister in law, Margaret Trusty of Mt. Sterling; four grandchildren, Erica King, Jason Ware, Kellie Stevens (Logan) and Dylan Ware; one great-grandchild, Kylie Shewman also survives.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Joe Trusty and Ralph Davis and one niece, Stacey Jo Trusty.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sherl Thomas officiating and burial following in the Machpelah Cemetery.  Friends may visit Tuesday from 11 am  - 1 pm at the Taul Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be Jason Ware, Logan Stevens, Tony Terry, Gene Pace, Kenneth Hisle, David Combs, Dylan Ware, Justin Crockett and Sammy Manley.  In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Kentucky Heart Association, 354 Waller Ave. Ste. 110, Lexington, KY 40504.
