Kathryn May Tyree, 85, of Main Street, Sharpsburg, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 at her residence.  She was born in Bath County, Kentucky on June 12, 1934 the daughter of the late Chess and Lillie Wilhoite Ginter.  She was the owner of the Children's Corner Daycare and member of Gateway Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Avery Tyree of Sharpsburg, KY; three daughters, Lois (Larry Reed) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Tammy (Randy) Russell of Paris, KY and Carol (Dale) Hollon of Mt. Sterling; a sister, Ruby R. Ginter Ishmael of Dayton, OH; and two grandchildren, Tyler Hollon and Tanner Hollen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.

Private funeral services were held at 1 PM, Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Bill Kilgore and Glenn Emery officiating and burial following in the Machpelah Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Ashley Tyree, Tanner Hollon, Tyler Hollon, Larry Reed, Randy Russell, Roger Wilson and Joe Wilson.  In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Gateway Christian Church or your favorite charity for children.
