Kenneth Carl Walters, 81, of Mt. Sterling passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at his residence.  He was born November 27, 1942 in Montgomery County, KY to the late Raymond Walters and Leatha Keaton.  He retired after 51 years as a Route Salesman with Kerns Bread and Sara Lee.  He loved golfing, fishing and was an avid Rook player.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Walters of Mt. Sterling, KY; son, Steve R. Walters (Robyn) of Mt. Sterling, KY; daughter, Jenneth DeHart of Mt. Sterling, KY; sisters, Janice Corum of Versailles, KY and Rachel Browning of Mt. Sterling, KY; grandchildren, Gentry Walters, Alan DeHart and Meredith Walters; and great grandchildren, Grayson DeHart and Beau Kelly Walters.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Dallas Walters and Ralph Walters; and sister, Rilla Garner.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Teegarden officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 6-8 PM, Monday, August 26, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Ricky Bowles, Gentry Walters, Alan DeHart, Shane Barnes, AB Givens and Steve DeHart.  Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Corum, Gary Garner, Mike Hargis, Geoff Hill and Jerry Richardson.
