Kerri Sturgill, 71, of Mt. Sterling, KY passed away Friday, April 10, 2026 at her residence.  She was born March 15, 1955 in Dayton, OH to Sara Warner Taylor.  She worked at Montgomery County Area Tech Center.  She enjoyed horses and yard sales.

She is survived by sons, Edward Hart, III (Tiffany) of Jeffersonville, KY and Josh Hart (Tonya) of Camargo, KY; her mother, Sara Warner Taylor of Owingsville, KY; and grandchildren, Logan Hart, Kennedi Hart, Sophie Hart and Michael Sturgill.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Lee Hart and Phillip Sturgill.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Raymond Townsend officiating, burial following at Longview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Ed Hart, Logan Hart, Billy Brandenburg, Scott Little, Robbie Skaggs and Brandon Powell.
