Larry Ray Vanderpool, 76, of West Liberty passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024 at West Liberty Nursing and Rehabilitation.   He was born March 4, 1948 in St. Louis, MO to the late Robert Vanderpool and Anna Lee Yocum.  He was a retired construction worker for Green Construction and he loved to fish and hunt.

He is survived by sons, Larry Ray Vanderpool, Jr. (Garietta) of Wellington, KY, Benny Earl Vanderpool (Lori) of Georgetown, KY and Linville Joseph Vanderpool (Billie Ann) of Frenchburg, KY; brother, Dale Helton of Frenchburg, KY; sisters, Laquita Collins of Middletown, KY and Vicki Helton of Frenchburg, KY; eleven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Vanderpool (his twin); a sister, Teresa Helton; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Taul Funeral Chapel Frenchburg, KY with Rev. Alan Ratliff and Rev. Gary Mayabb officiating, burial following at Jones Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 12 PM-1 PM, Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
