Pastor Larry E. Williams, 79, of Frenchburg passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024 at University of Kentucky Hospital.  He was born August 25, 1944 in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late Sanford and Ann Rose Williams.  He was the Pastor at Slate Creek Pentecostal Church and retired from the Bluegrass Army Depot.

He is survived by sons, Billy Bowles of Mt. Sterling, KY and Larry Williams, Jr. (Linda) of Mt. Sterling, KY; daughter, Melissa Williams of Flemingsburg, KY; sister Judy Barnett (Merle) of Jeffersonville, KY; grandchildren, Aleisha Anderson (Chris), Bryan Davis, Alexia Gray (Anthony), Jason Bowles (Michelle), Raechelle Bowles (Becca Hooker), Madison Henderson (Bill), Maxwell Ginn and Madison Ginn; great-grandchildren, Riley Bilbrey (Jakob), Destiny Anderson, Joanna Gray, Scuba Gray and Charlotte Gray; and a great-great grandchild, Easton Bilbrey.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Smallwood Williams; brothers, Bobby Williams, Warren Williams and Jerry Williams; and a sister, Shirley Ballard.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Slate Creek Pentecostal Church with Larry Williams, Jr. officiating, burial following at Williams Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 6-8 PM, Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Slate Creek Pentecostal Church.  Pallbearers will be David Skidmore, Smiley Ballard, Sanford Williams, Timmy Williams, David Williams, Ernie Tackett, David Lawson, Jake Ballard, Joe Boston and Toby Williams.
