Lester Rogers, 87, of Means, KY passed away Monday, June 29, 2026 at Mt. Sterling Health and Rehab. He was born March 17, 1939 in Menifee County, KY to the late Bud and Etta Hatton Rogers. He attended Christian Assemble of God in Mt. Sterling, KY. He was a Farmer and retired from Hobart Manufacturing and the State of Kentucky Highway Road Department.

He is survived by sons, Raymond Rogers of Jeffersonville, KY and Jason Mann (Lisa) of Means, KY; daughters, Debra Howard (Paul) of Jeffersonville, KY and Denise Browning of Means, KY; fourteen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Sexton Rogers; sons, John Mann and Jeff Mann; brothers, Albert Rogers and Jackie Rogers; and a twin sister, Ester Tackett.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday, July 6, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Barnes officiating, burial following at Mann-Roark Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12 PM-1PM, Monday, July 6, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Derek Blankenship, Trevor Blankenship, Jordan Mann, Glenn Roark, Dalton Rogers and Pallas Ratliff. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul White, Hubert White, Danny Wells, Michael White, Travis Ferguson, Arnold Creech, Paul Howard and Donald Ray Willoughby.
