Linda Gail Bowling, 78, of Mt. Sterling, KY passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at her residence. She was born March 23, 1948 in Montgomery Co., KY to the late Ford and Frances Heaton Adams. She retired from Traditional Bank as a Teller.

She is survived by a son, Jamie Bowling (Michelle) of Richmond, KY; a brother, Larry Adams of Maryville, TN; and one grandchild, Evan James Bowling.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Adam James Bowling; brothers, Bobby Joe Adams and Tim Adams; and a sister, Charlotte Jean Amburgey.

In addition to spending time with her friends and family, she loved watching UK sports. She cherished her grandson and loved making his favorites- corn pudding, pea salad, and strawberry cheesecake. She looked forward to baking gingerbread men with Evan every Christmas. She was a great cook, baker, and candy maker, even though she would say otherwise.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Monday, September 28, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Hammer McGuire officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10 AM-12 PM, Monday, September 28, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Spears Stilz, Jacob Stilz, Jamie Bowling, Evan Bowling, Phillip Maddox and Larry Donithan.
