Linda Gay Wells, 70, of Mt. Sterling passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY.  She was born May 31, 1951 to the late William H. Elkins and Magdalene Back.  She was a member of Botts Christian Church, worked as a Realtor for Caswell Prewitt Reality, retired as a Pricing Coordinator from Kroger and was a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

She is survived by her husband, Garland "Wayne" Wells of Jeffersonville, KY; three sons, David M. Gay (Cynthia) of Jeffersonville, KY, Doug Gay (Tina) of Jeffersonville, KY and Tristian Wells of Lagrange, GA; two daughters, Heather Gibbons (Bill) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Tiffany Stine (Drew) of Winchester, KY; three brothers, Mark Sager of Redondo Beach, CA, Eddie Sager of Redondo Beach, CA and Michael Sager of Redondo Beach, CA; one sister, Christine Dickson; six grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Due to COVID it will be a private family service.  Pallbearers will be Drew Stine, Chris Gay, Bill Gibbons, Caleb Gay, David Gay and Doug Gay. Honorary pallbearer will be Jesse Wells.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Susan G. Komen, 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
