Lodis Wells, 91, of Frenchburg passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Windsor Care Center.  She was born May 13, 1931 to the late Jesse Wilburn Sargent and Stella Hale.  She was a member of Botts Christian Church.

She is survived by two sons, Garland Wayne Wells of Frenchburg, KY and Jesse Bruce Wells (Melissa) of Frenchburg, KY; two daughters, Beverly Kay Robertson (Steve) of Frenchburg, KY and Vicki Lynn Donathan (Gary) of Frenchburg, KY; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cordell Wells; son, Cordell Mark Wells; four brothers, Melvin Sargent, Kermit Sargent, Clester Sargent and Dallas Sargent; and three sisters, Mazie Steele, Velma Burke and Reva Louise Hall.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg with Rev. David Hale officiating, burial following at Egelston Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM -1 PM, Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be Cody Wells, Brent Wells, Bailey Donathan, Wade Donathan, Shannon Highley and Darren Highley.  Honorary Pallbearers Shawn Donathan, Richard Lawson, Chris Wells, Donnie Wells, Tristen Wells, Dwayne Steele, Mason Parks, Drew Stine and Bill Gibbons.
