Lottie Clarine Prater, 87, of Harrison Avenue passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at her residence.  She was born October 28, 1935 to the late George Phillip Browning and Anna Katherine Kerns in Mt. Sterling, KY.  She attended Restoration Church and retired from A.O. Smith.

She is survived by three sons, Lynn Phillip Prater (Connie) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Michael Gene Prater (Ann) of Jeffersonville, KY and Gerald Prater (Daphne) of Bourbon County, KY; two daughters, Deborah Jones of Sharpsburg, KY and Annette Gentry (Jay) of Mt. Sterling, KY; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carma Gene Prater; son, Jeff Prater; daughter, Connie Boyd; son-in-law, Donald Jones; and two sisters, Louise Garner and Carolyn Ford.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Friday, December 9, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robbie Workman officiating, burial following at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11-1 PM, Friday, December 9, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Phillip Prater, Tommy Prater, Jessie Martin, Mike Prater, Chris Jones, Jon Jones, Scott Jones and Lucas St. John.  Honorary pallbearers will be Frankie Anderson, Jay Gentry, Tom Bear, Jimmy Daniels, Lionel Thorton, BJ McKee and Chris Hunsinger.
