Mae Chambers, 73, of Pensacola, FL passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born January 30, 1950 in Beattyville, KY to the late Ovey and Mary Tolson Jewell.
She is survived by a step-son, James Chambers of Lexington, KY; daughters, Marsha Chambers Kegley of Pensacola, FL, Bonnie Chambers Mapel of Pensacola, FL and Pam Chambers Schillo (Mark) of Schaumburg, IL; sister, Virginia Abner (David) of Beattyville, KY; grandchildren, Jonathan Wells, Lindsey Wells Dinh, Ashley Schillo, Maggie Schillo, Rachel Chambers and Issac Chambers; great grandchildren, Karina Skye Clogston, Tai Dinh and Mason Chambers Malone; nieces, Joann Roberts, Rhonda Roberts, Carolyn Roberts, Betty Roberts and Linda Bennett; and nephews, Harold Roberts and David Paul Abner.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Chambers; brothers, Benny Jewell and Darrell Jewell; sisters, Margaret Maloney and Josephine Roberts; and a nephew, Steven Roberts.
A Funeral service will be held 1 PM, Friday, February 10, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Cole officiating, burial following at Chambers-Johnson Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-1 PM, Friday, February 10, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Wells, Issac Chambers, Tom Dinh, Mark Schillo, David Abner and David Paul Abner. Honorary pallbearers will be David Maloney, Lindsey Wells Dinh, Rachel Chambers, Pam Chambers Schillo, James Chambers and Cassy Wallace.
