Marjorie Ann (Weber) Hesselbrock, passed away on November 7, 2020 in Mt. Sterling KY. Taul Funeral Home, Mt. Sterling will be handing arrangements. Family and friends are invited to attend Marjorie's visitation from 10 am to 12 pm on 11/10/2020 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Mt. Sterling, KY.
Funeral services will be held at Noon, Tuesday, 11/10, 2020, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Frank Brawner officiating. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery.
Marjorie was born on July 21, 1935 in Cincinnati Ohio to Irvin E. Weber and Helen (Dreiss) Weber. Marjorie was baptized at St. Vincent DePaul in Newport to KY, with John Schmitz and Ann Enzweiler as her sponsors. Her godmother Ann was precious to her. Marjorie graduated from St. Thomas High School on June 4, 1953, and attended nursing school at St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing in Covington KY. Marjorie spoke fondly of her friends from high school and nursing school, Dottie and Sue. On January 31, 1957, Marjorie married Herbert William (Bill) Hesselbrock (deceased). They were married for 41 years.
Marjorie and Bill raised eight children during their marriage together, and took an active part in the lives of their children and their community. Marjorie served as a Cub Scout Den Mother, a Girl Scout Leader, a Welcome Wagon Hostess, member of the St. Patrick's Altar and Rosary Society, and Vice-President of her Homemaker's Club. She loved to sing and listen to her beloved Kenny Rogers. An artist at heart, Marjorie composed several beautiful paintings for her children, knitted and crocheted blankets, and created quilts and wall hangings that her family treasures.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Hesselbrock, her Father – Irvin E. Weber, her mother – Helen Weber, her husband – Bill Hesselbrock, her sister – Sylvia (Weber) Dehne, her brother in law – Charles W. Dehne, and her sister in law – Barbara (Baugh) Weber.
Marjorie is survived by:
Pallbearers will be: Andrew Hesselbrock, Cameron Hesselbrock, Adam Hesselbrock, Tyler Whitehouse, Lucas Hesselbrock, Patrick Hesselbrock. Honorary Pallbearers include Jackson Caudill and Faith Justice.
Memorials may be given to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Marjorie's family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to her children and siblings who have been incredibly supportive and loving, Father Frank Brawner and the members of St. Patrick Catholic Church, her healthcare professionals at Windsor Care, and Jerry Galipeau, her choir director in Chicago.
