Marcella McVey, 85, of Mt. Sterling passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Windsor Care Center.  She was born August 6, 1937 to the late Alvin and Hazel Yarber Stephens in Bath County, KY.  She was a member of Somerset Christian Church and worked for Judy Water Association.

She is survived three sons, Ronnie McVey (Sherry) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Doug McVey of Mt. Sterling, KY and Ernie Jones (Stephanie) of Mt. Sterling, KY; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Jerry Hatton; and a sister, Betty Pendleton.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Friday, September 30, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Latimer officiating, burial following at Springfield Cemetery.   Visitation will be held 12-1 PM, Friday, September 30, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Stacy Smith, Johnny Montjoy, Randall Gannon, Arthur Hubbard, Aaron Smith and Larry Larson.
