Marie Thompson Hunt, 88, of Sharpsburg passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling.  She was born June 17, 1933 to the late Frank and Christine Rice Becraft. She was a member of Sharpsburg Presbyterian Church and she retired from Jockey International.

She is survived by two sons, Tommy Thompson of Sharpsburg, KY and Charlie Thompson (Susan) of Sharpsburg, KY; one daughter, Olivia June Hunt Ripley of Mt. Sterling, KY; five grandchildren, Matthew Thompson, Zachary Thompson, Cody Thompson, Morgan Ripley and Christina Thompson; and four great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by two husbands, Tommy Thompson and Ollie Hunt; and a companion, Tommy Moore.

Funeral service will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Moore officiating, burial following at Longview Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Morgan Ripley, Christina Thompson, Zachary Thompson, Cody Thompson, Helen Bowles, Margie Sexton, Pete Scott and Bobby Butcher.
