Marie Kemplin, 94, of Mt. Sterling passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Windsor Care Center.  She was born November 26, 1926 to the late Carl Trent and Edith Stamper.  She was a member of Church of God.

She is survived by a son, Kenny Kemplin of Mt. Sterling, KY; one daughter-in-law, Shirley Kemplin of Mt. Sterling, KY; five grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Homer Kemplin; one son, Homer Ray Kemplin; two brothers, JR Trent and Elmer Trent; two sisters, Margaret Stone and Hazel Tipton.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Prather officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-1 PM, Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.
