Marie Irene Reynolds, 97, of Mt. Sterling passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at Windsor Care Center. She was born June 24, 1922 to the late Valentine and Abelonia Schwab Gette. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the Women's Altar Society. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who loved golfing, cooking, gardening, playing bridge and dancing. She loved Patches the cat at Windsor Care Center.

She is survived by one son, Randy Reynolds (Martha) of Knoxville, TN; one daughter, Christie Snowden (Gene) of Louisville, KY; one daughter-in-law, Pam Reynolds; four grandchildren, Brad Reynolds (Emily) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Christie Evans (Vance) of Lexington, KY, Gene Snowden III (Mary Kathryn) of Louisville, KY and Stacy Marie Kreis (Mike) of Louisville, KY; nine great grandchildren, Chandler Reynolds, Liza Reynolds, Lainey Reynolds. Alley Marie Evans, Case Evans, Luke Snowden, Hadley Snowden, Carson Kreis and Mackenzie Kreis.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Randolph Reynolds; one son, Dick Reynolds; three brothers; and two sisters.

A private graveside service will be held 1:30 PM, Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Machpelah Cemetery with Father Norman Fischer officiating. Pallbearers will be Brad Reynolds, Gene Snowden III, Vance Evans, Luke Snowden, Chandler Reynolds and Mike Kreis. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Patrick's Church, 139 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353 and Gateway Area Humane Society, PO Box 123, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353. A special thanks to the caregivers at Windsor Care Center, they were truly a blessing for our Mother.
